The New Parish tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot in Oakland that’s got a vibe and a story? The New Parish is that place. It’s not just your average concert venue, it’s a hub for genre mashups and experimental shows that really push the envelope. I’ve seen bands blend jazz with hip-hop, and even some wild electronic acts that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Plus, they do cool stuff like sound design classes, which honestly, is pretty rare for a small venue. They celebrated their fourteenth birthday recently with a laid-back gathering featuring past artists, which just shows how connected they are to the local scene. The jam nights there are something else, a real melting pot of musicians just messing around and collaborating on the fly. The charm of the place? It’s got this cozy, close-knit feel that bigger venues just can’t match. Musicians and fans alike love the intimate vibe and the sense that you’re part of something special. If you’re coming from the Oakland Public Library, it’s easy, head toward 14th Street, turn left on Broadway, then right on 19th Street and you’re there. Whether you’re after premium seats for a big show or just want a chill spot to catch some local bands, The New Parish has options. They even have an interactive seating chart to help you pick the best spot, whether that’s front row for Anti, VIP sections for Little Dragon, or budget-friendly seats. Honestly, it’s one of those places that makes you wanna say, ‘Yeah, I wanna go back again!’ So, don’t miss out, dive into Oakland’s live music scene at The New Parish and see where the night takes you.
